Cozy castle tavern, you can also sit outside. Friendly service in medieval clothing. Food came quickly and tasted good.

We were here in February. Actually only coincidentally, as we visited the museum and there was too little time to catch the train. How fortunate! We only had coffee and cake, which were all very tasty, but the location and especially our waiter Sven (according to the receipt :-)) are worth an experience. We had a lot of fun and at the end you get a nice saying written on your bill. We regret it a little that we didn't come back for dinner. I'll keep the receipt as a memento of a lovely afternoon. Thank you.

We were in Binz on vacation and on August 10th, 2020 we went to the Granitz hunting lodge for dinner. On the one hand the historic cellar vault was very beautiful, on the other hand the service was super friendly. But the food top everything it was delicious. I and my wife liked it so much that we opened the restaurant on August 13th. have visited again. Another service is just as good. I personally can only recommend the "deer roulade", unfortunately they close at 6:30 pm but you have to be on Binz.

Nice hike to a lovely place, amazing dishes and great service. Sven the waiter - who calls himself a servant - behaves like a knight, very courteous and humorous. Thank you for the nice day and good luck and good health.

The small ascent to the picturesque castle stimulates the appetite and the menu with its many game dishes even more. I had a delicious schnitzel, tender and fried in the pan. When I urgently had to make a business call, the nice man from the service immediately switched the switch and kept my food warm. Thank you so much!

Very tasty and affordable. What I can only recommend is the scoop of ice cream with hazelnut whiskey. Super delicious as a dessert. The Schlosspfanne and the Hirschburger are also highly recommended.

Unfortunately, I cannot understand the extremely good reviews. There is down-to-earth, simple cuisine here. The risotto with the redfish was way too salty.

Expensive, way too salty and not really tasty

Were in the tavern “Alte Brennerei” after the visit to the castle, sat outside. The waiter was super friendly and quick. The food (potato soup, castle pan, venison burger with goat cheese) tasted fantastic. Clear recommendation!

During our stay on the island of Ruegen we really wanted to eat in the tavern and we were not disappointed. Delicious food, very nice waitress in a great outfit and quick service. This restaurant can only be recommended!

This rustic restaurant is located in the basement of the Granitz Hunting Lodge and — which is no surprise — has several game signature dishes. At our visit, we tried their famous deer burger and deer spare ribs. The burger is downright fantastic. The use of game is not a gimmick, the patty has indeed a distinctive and pleasant gamey flavour. Spare ribs are great as well. They are as perfect as spare ribs should be done and the deer meat makes is stand out in taste. I feel hard pressed to decide which of those dishes was better. Service was impeccable, we felt very welcome during our stay.

Very quaint restaurant. Although it was relatively full, the order was immediately taken and the food came quickly. Very friendly service and the food also tasted very good. A recommendable restaurant despite the large number of tourists. If you do not come at peak times on weekends, you will quickly find a place. I give a clear recommendation.

The food, the drinks and the service were great. The ambience of madness. I had roast apple mulled wine and my friend Honig Bier .... both were very good and just in November just right, because we are with the bike to the castle. I can only recommend the mulled wine :)

Wonderful ambience with a rustic atmosphere! The food was very tasty and nicely presented (see pictures). The portions are more than large and absolutely reasonable in terms of price. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly and courteous service. It is a real relief to watch someone who has so much fun at work. Therefore absolutely deserved 5 stars!
